Growing up I participated in Track & Field and also in Boxing. After competing in Taekwondo, I made the transition into CrossFit and started specifically focusing on gymnastics skills and Olympic weightlifting.
As a coach, I love to work with athletes one-on-one and spend a lot of my time working as a personal trainer. Coaching is really rewarding for me. I really love when I can show someone the proper progressions to achieve something they never thought possible. When I’m not leading a class at Haymaker, or working with a personal training client, I like to play video games and spend time around animals.
I love surrounding myself with people that just love getting fitter. Even as a coach, there are movements in the gym that I need to work on or still don’t enjoy. For example, …let’s just say I have a bad relationship with the air bike. But being at the gym with other people with similar goals helps me stay motivated.
